How much does it cost?
Costs of medicinal products vary depending on the type of product and the dose. Typical costs are around $200-300 a month. Rebates may be available for some clients and with certain health funds.
How long does it take?
Typically, it can take around 7-10 days between your initial consultation and your supply of medicinal medication.
How often will I need follow up appointments?
This depends on the type of preparation, how well you respond to treatment and whether dose adjustments or product changes are required. As a general rule we suggest follow up consultations at 2 weeks (included in the initial fee), 4 weeks, 8 weeks, and 3 months after initiation of treatment, and every 3 months thereafter.
Can children use alternative medication?
Children can be considered for medications in certain circumstances. However, this is a specialist area, and we would suggest you seek advice from a paediatrician. We are only able to offer face-to-face consultations for children, and will usually seek to liaise with a paediatrician or other specialist involved in a child’s care before offering a prescription.
